From 0e2d96a8ce8d4dab23c8664c18937596ec040bf7 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: George Cushen Date: Sat, 2 May 2026 18:14:00 +0100 Subject: [PATCH] style(template): convert logos band to dark mode for visual rhythm MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Switch the logos section to a dark band (bg-gray-900 + force `dark` mode within the section) and white logo style. Extends the dark zone from the hero so the hero's section_break: fade-bottom transitions dark → dark instead of revealing a light strip. The logos block itself keeps supporting both light and dark — only the landing page config changes here. Other templates can opt for a light band by reverting to `bg-gray-50 dark:bg-gray-900` + `logo_style: grayscale`. --- templates/startup-landing-page/content/_index.md | 7 +++++-- 1 file changed, 5 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/templates/startup-landing-page/content/_index.md b/templates/startup-landing-page/content/_index.md index 99a9f954..91c5eff3 100644 --- a/templates/startup-landing-page/content/_index.md +++ b/templates/startup-landing-page/content/_index.md @@ -85,10 +85,13 @@ sections: name: Vercel design: layout: marquee - logo_style: grayscale + # White logos read cleanly against the dark band; both styles work — see logos block schema + logo_style: white logo_size: md marquee_speed: 35 - css_class: "bg-gray-50 dark:bg-gray-900" + # `dark` activates child components' `dark:` variants, `bg-gray-900` paints the band. + # Extends the dark zone from the hero, so the hero's fade-bottom no longer reveals a light strip. + css_class: "dark bg-gray-900" spacing: padding: ["2rem", 0, "2rem", 0]
