From 9f19818ea7281a5ac814a6571b489c2e13dc4e5b Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: George Cushen Date: Sat, 2 May 2026 19:35:21 +0100 Subject: [PATCH] =?UTF-8?q?fix(themes):=20default=20light=20secondary=20in?= =?UTF-8?q?digo=E2=86=92teal=20for=20visible=20gradients?= MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Light-mode `secondary` was `blue` (hue ~260, almost identical to the `indigo` primary at hue ~277). Result: every primary→secondary gradient in light mode read as a flat solid colour — Pro pricing tier border, "Most popular" badge, Pro CTA, hero highlight (when not in forced-dark sections), stats numbers, comparison-table accents all lost their gradient direction. Switch light secondary to `teal` (hue ~182). Dark mode already used teal, so this unifies the brand pairing across modes. Visible gradient direction restored everywhere primary→secondary is used. No block changes needed — the fix lives in the theme palette where similar brand decisions belong, not as workarounds in individual blocks. --- modules/blox/data/themes/default.yaml | 5 ++++- 1 file changed, 4 insertions(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/modules/blox/data/themes/default.yaml b/modules/blox/data/themes/default.yaml index 27e38aa4..bdc28392 100644 --- a/modules/blox/data/themes/default.yaml +++ b/modules/blox/data/themes/default.yaml @@ -14,7 +14,10 @@ hugoblox: light: colors: primary: "indigo" - secondary: "blue" + # `teal` (not `blue`) to give primary→secondary gradients visible direction + # in light mode — `indigo` and `blue` are nearly identical hues.
