# demo-gitlab-mirror

Demo of a push mirror from GitLab to GitHub. The source lives on
[GitLab](https://gitlab.com/tiennm99/demo-gitlab-mirror); every push is
mirrored to [GitHub](https://github.com/tiennm99/demo-gitlab-mirror). Commit
on GitLab only, or the mirror diverges.

The setup guide (Vietnamese) is in [`docs/index.html`](docs/index.html),
published to both GitLab Pages and GitHub Pages. It is based on the post
[Mirror repository từ GitLab sang GitHub](https://miti99.com/post/2025/03/26/).

## Pages

- **GitLab Pages:** `.gitlab-ci.yml` copies `docs/` to `public/` on the default branch.
- **GitHub Pages:** serves `docs/` from `main`, so no workflow file is needed
  and the mirror token only needs `Contents` permission.
